Part of the deliverables will be an Design Brief which includes an outline of your deliverables not on what they are but the content for each. Start by identifying the deliverables you are doing then define the content that goes on/in each deliverable, develop a timeline then design.

Don't do it all at the end -- that is just silly.

Examaple POSTER
To get the word out about the conference many time posters are printed and sent out to the population. Typically these would be accompanied by websites. The poster should be compelling -- people should want to hold onto it, hang it up. and more importantly want to go to the conference! They should not just want to toss it away -- so how do you make something compelling?)
