::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Design a poster using a photograph, and 2 pieces of text. 1. One text is a fortune destiny has chosen for you. 2. The second piece of text you must find it can be a poem, quotation, passage from a book, song lyrics, ect. The text should turn the fortune, show it in a different light, change its initial meaning, contrast it, oppose it, ect. 3. The photo should do the same thing as the second piece of text. The image can not be downloaded off the internet – I am serious here. I WILL NOT give you any feedback if you show up to class with any downloaded images (there are hundreds of photography books in the library). When you are looking for images and text AVOID the trite, the cliche, the inspirational. Analyze the texts/images and classify them into three levels of informational importance: dominant, sub-dominant, subordinate. These levels can be reordered throughout your design explorations. Also identify 1 – 3 words that can be called out. The words can be from your fortune, from your text, your word list or a combination of both. In this project well continue to learn to see typography in two ways: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: mon, November 26 homework: you will need the following things to do your homework.
