__I want to live (name the city) or cities

__I want to work for ___ type of firm or name of firms

__I want to work with this person!____

Where do you want to live? Who do you want to work with? What type of work do you want to do? Find people or places you want to work with...check out online sites such as Dribbble, It’s Nice That, The Fox is Black, The Dieline, BrandNew, Grain Edit...

Keep a document google sheet or excell doc that you can add to easily...
Name, Firm, email address, website address, why you love them is it the work overall, one project, their mission or beliefs... stalk them. where did they work before? who else works with them? where did they work before? See how this can snowball into a lot of great places to work?

Send them and email and tell them you love their work. That is it.

Find a job you want to apply for. Start by searching discipline-specific online listings on AIGA’s job board (you have to be an AIGA member to access full job postings) and on sites like Behance, Design Observer,.. Check out the websites of any companies or institutions you want to work for. General job boards at sites like LinkedIn, Indeed, and The New York Times can be harder to sort through, but are still good sources for listings from larger companies that post all of their openings in one
place.

Check out printed publications such as Communication Arts, Graphis, Archive...
