OVERVIEW: Typographic Universe

The primary goal of Typographic Univers gives the Design student an introduction to the world of type design. Typography looks at the sequence of black and white forms. Type Design requires equal attention to the form of the glpyhs/ characters and the spaces around them. We will practice designing type systematically with a focus on looking at, definning and refining the interrlationships between orms. Particular attention will be towads the techniques and best practices for creating, drawing and spacing type. The course uses Glyphs 3.
